I'm very happy to say that "Venetian Mask" won the People's Choice Award at the 2019 St. Charles Art Guild Annual Showcase and Exhibition in New Orleans!
I got the idea for this painting when two ladies from my drawing class brought in some items to create a still life for the class to draw. Once it was set up, it was such a beautiful arrangement of lovely items from their travels, I created a still life painting. Thank you, Alice G. and Alice C.! I'm thankful for their inspiration!
