It is not unusual for a storm or hurricane to develop in the Gulf of Mexico. This painting depicts a shrimp trawler caught in a storm far out in the Gulf. I enjoyed working with the beautiful colors found in the clouds and the waves.
This painting won Second Place in the annual St. Charles Art Guild Exhibition and Sale in New Orleans, September 2017.
