This painting was inspired by my friend's dog, a black German Shepherd named Casper.
I love highly focused quality of these dogs, and decided to place one in this painting to depict their natural protectiveness, strength and loyalty. The young woman is relaxed and confident that her faithful companion will keep her safe. The setting is calm and peaceful, but her Guardian is always ready.
