This large painting was commissioned by a client and his wife who both love to fish. They especially enjoy catching Redfish, a Louisiana favorite. They are fans of large, colorful, textural paintings such as this one, and I enjoyed working in a slightly different style than most of my other paintings. It was fun working large and with so much color. I even added some gold leaf oil paint here and there to capture the light.
