Fishing in southeast Louisiana is very popular, and lots of my friends enjoy this activity. This painting was based on a photo taken by a friend of mine while fishing for speckled trout. (Photo used with permission.) Nature offers so many things to inspire an artist!

This painting won First Place in the St. Charles Art Guild annual exhibition, New Orleans, 2018.
