This painting was done for the Canisteo Dog Shelter, in Canisteo, New York. It features a German Shepherd and a black Labrador Retriever sharing the sunshine in the Canisteo valley. In the distance is The Canisteo Living Sign, made of approximately 200 living white pine trees, planted on the side of a mountain, and is a landmark for the town.
