Murals
Pictured here is a mural painted for the conference room at the Child Nutrition Office at our local school board building. It was painted using one point perspective to give the illusion of depth and this creates an effect known as "trompe l'oeil" (fool the eye.) The mural is painted on 4 separate panels which were then mounted on the wall by a talented carpenter (Thanks, Mario!) and framed with a simple blue molding. This mural took approximately 400 hours over a period of 55 days to complete.
